Personal History

Edgar Donohue was born into the large population of Irish humans dwelling within the cities of Earth-III. Born to a struggling family of scrappers, Ed lived in poverty the for majority of his childhood. He learned the trade of his parents quickly, working through his adolescent years in his parents' footsteps to help keep food on the table.

Once old enough to go out on his own, and with what little money he saved, Ed put himself through med school. Using his previous trade of mechanical work, Ed took what work was available, ranging from ship repairs to scrapping, to help fund his learning.

After graduating, Ed took up work on the Rampart-5, a Harrier-class trading vessel, as a medic. Throughout his two years of working on the Rampart-5, Ed had the opportunity to interact with the various species of the universe. Intrigued by the adaptations of these species, as well as the growing world of human augmentation, Ed left the Rampart-5 for the Pioneer Suzy, a Venerable-class exploration vessel, to once again work as a medic.

Aboard the Pioneer Suzy, Ed had the opportunity to further learn of the universe and those that inhabit it, specifically those of lower, tribal-level development. Sympathetic with their struggles, Ed petitioned the vessel leaders to allow him to teach those of lesser development basic medical and mechanical skills. Denied, Ed returned to his home planet of Earth-III, where he researched methods of wilderness survival and rationing, along with honing his various trades, until the opportunity to spread his learning to the less fortunate arised.

Ed now serves aboard the Razorwing, where he hopes he may get the chance to fulfill his goal.

Miscellaneous
