Notable Character Traits:

  • Sooth the savage beast - Despite his disease, Jeff has learned to play guitar, and play it well. When he plays a tune, everyone listens, this can cause fights to be avoided, or even be a way of diplomacy… then again, it could also be used as a distraction.

Notable Character Flaws:

  • Handle With Care - Jeff has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, more commonly known as 'Brittle Bone Disease', which causes him great difficulty in most tasks. He has had minor augments in order for him to be able to walk without aid (although he still has trouble with it), but is otherwise essentially a 'glass man' in the sense that falling over could do some serious damage to him.

History (Optional):

Jeffrey Kohler was born on Earth II 24 years prior to the beginning of the AEC/Black Order war. He has had Osteogenesis Imperfecta all his life, and struggled through school as a result. When in high school, he dropped out to take his courses from home, after a rather nasty incident in which both of his legs were broken. During healing, he had metal augments installed in his legs to assist with healing, and allow him to walk by himself (without needing a wheelchair or crutches). After graduating highschool, he applied to join the AEC as an administrative assistant, but was offered training as a communications officer. The Razorwing is his second ship, the first being the AEC Starlight, a Revenant Class Cargoliner that had been converted to a fully equipped gunship (much like the C-130 Hercules of Earth history becoming the AC-130 gunship). When the Black Order attacked Bragg, Jeff requested a transfer to avoid injury incase the Starlight was hit by enemy fire, despite it's hundreds of countermeasures.
